INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS IN ENGLISH

The University of Gdansk, Faculty of Economics, within track: International Economic Relations, has developed Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree Programmes in International Business. These unique degree programmes in International Business commenced on the 1^st of October 2008.

Bachelor’s (3 years) and Master’s Degree (2 years) Programmes in International Business are one of a kind and will give their participants access to exceptional knowledge and expertise about strategic and global business management, marketing, financial issues as well as specific insights into business system of Central and Eastern European countries. Thus, these programmes offer students comprehensive understanding of the complexities in the field of international business.

Programme structure consists of strong core and major subjects and an interesting range of electives. It will deepen the knowledge of the most specific areas of international relations, such as international marketing, management, accounting, logistics, finance and investment, mergers and acquisitions, human resource management, etc. Our programmes will address different issues of globalisation, regionalisation and intercultural approaches to international business. It will provide students for using
their competencies in the qualitative and quantitative research methods. Students will be encouraged to prepare their BA and MA thesis in accordance with their particular interests. The tuition methods in Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree Programmes include traditional lectures both by outstanding University professors and company practitioners, seminars, case study analysis, buzz groups and individual supervision for students’ thesis. Consequently, wide range of teaching methods will focus on providing
students not only with knowledge, but - importantly - with competences that enable students to create their own expertise and skills as well.


Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in International Business cements international position of the University of Gdansk, Faculty of Economics. We believe that many talented international students will choose to complete their degree at the Faculty of Economics, the University of Gdansk.
