University localisation

The University of Gdańsk is located in the oldest and biggest city in Northern Poland. It is Poland's principal seaport as well as the capital of the Pomeranian Voivodeship. The city lies on the southern edge of Gdańsk Bay (of the Baltic Sea). Together with Gdynia and Sopot, Gdańsk creates the aglomeration called "Tri-City" (Trójmiasto). Our University facilities are located all over Tri-City which gives us advantages of historical, 1000 years old town of Gdańsk, modern Gdynia and spa town of Sopot.

Gdańsk is both historical and surrounded by nature. The Old Town with the largest in the world gothic church built from red brick is unique and impresses all coming visitors. Sandy beaches and beautiful forests give a lot of possibilities to relax. A thousand-year history, a location at the crossroads of important commercial and communication routes, an extensive port and mercantile traditions - all this makes Gdańsk a meeting place of many cultures, nationalities and denominations.
